Meet Serena, a comeback girl with a heart of gold! Serena arrived at the shelter as a stray with her sister, Venus. She was lucky enough to go into foster care quickly, but her journey took a difficult turn when she was found abandoned in another county. Serena returned to us in rough shape, needing time, patience, and a lot of love. Thanks to the dedication of our staff and volunteers, Serena has blossomed back into her affectionate and gentle self. She forms deep bonds with her people and loves to be a part of your day.

Ideal Home

Serena is selective about her dog friends, so a meet-and-greet is required to ensure it's a good match.

Ongoing Health

Serena is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Serena enjoys playing hide-and-seek in the play yard, keeps her kennel clean, and has wonderful mouth manners. She also has fantastic leash manners and looks forward to her daily walks.
