Atherton

Meet Atherton, a charming and energetic young Labrador Retriever who weighs about 65 pounds. Atherton is a bundle of joy, always ready for an adventure or a good cuddle session. He's a smart boy who already knows "sit," "shake," and "down," and he's very motivated by treats, making him a fantastic training partner. Atherton loves to play, especially with his favorite stuffed toys and tennis balls – tug-of-war is a particular favorite! He's an affectionate companion who enjoys leaning in for pets and will even do a cute backward flop to ask for belly rubs. While he has an adventurous spirit and enjoys exploring, he always checks back in with his people. Atherton approaches everything in life with enthusiasm, whether it's chasing away a crow, splashing in water, or joining in on doggie playgroups.

Ideal Home

Atherton would do best as a solo dog with canine friends outside the home, or with appropriately matched dogs.

Ongoing Health

Atherton is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Atherton can pull a bit on leash and is currently working on his leash manners. His excitement for life is part of his charm, and with continued training, he'll surely master this!
