Cami is a shy but sweet-natured girl who's just turned one year old. This Terrier/Lab mix, weighing around 30-35 pounds, is a special case that needs a loving and very patient home. Her sister was recently adopted, and Cami has unfortunately regressed into her shell. She truly shines and feels more confident around other dogs, so a playful canine companion in the home would be ideal. She would also benefit from one-on-one attention in a quiet environment.
Ideal Home
Cami would do best in a quiet home. If there are children, they should be over 14 years old. She needs a fenced yard, at least initially, as she may be a flight risk while she's learning to trust her new family.
Ongoing Health
Cami is spayed, vaccinated (DHLPPx3, Bordetella and Rabies), has been dewormed, and is on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. A health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport.
Training & Support
Cami needs work on leash walking and is not currently housebroken, though she does not go to the bathroom in her crate at night.

Cami is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. She can be met via transport near one of the following cities: Buffalo, Rochester, Rye, Albany, Mohawk/Herkimer, NY; Chicago, Springfield, IL; Eau Claire, Portage, WI; Trenton, Ridgefield, Sewaren, NJ; Tumwater, Bothell, Bellingham, Spokane, WA; Portland, The Dalles, OR; Missoula, Big Timber, MT; Michigan City, Spiceland, IN; Boise, Mountain Home, ID; West Des Moines, IA; Denver, CO; Battle Creek, MI; Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, OH; Enfield, Darien, Union, CT; Allentown, Pittsburgh, PA; Haymarket, VA; Burnsville, MN; Laramie, WY; Baltimore, MD; Riverdale, UT. You must be available at the scheduled time and location for pickup. If things don't work out, she will return to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.
