Alfie

Meet Alfie, a handsome 2-year-old Shih Tzu weighing 13 pounds who is ready to find a loving forever home. He is a friendly, affectionate, and playful little guy who enjoys the company of other dogs and does well with children. Alfie came to us after being owner surrendered from a hoarding situation. Because of his past, he may need a little extra time to adjust to a new environment, but once he feels safe, his sweet personality shines through. A patient family willing to give him the time and reassurance he needs will be rewarded with a loyal and loving companion.

Ongoing Health

Alfie is neutered, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Alfie is crate trained but will need continued guidance and consistency to become fully housebroken. He may need a little extra time to adjust to a new environment.

• We strive to answer every inquiry in a timely manner. Please be patient as we are an all volunteer rescue. We do our best to match you with the right dog.
• The adoption fee includes spay/neuter if over 3 months of age, rabies, bordetella, DHPP and microchip. This fee also includes the transport of the dog to your area.

Transporation

Our dogs are in foster homes in McAllen, TX and are transported to your area with a private transporter once the dog is adopted. There are no meet and greets. The transporter only goes to the East Coast. We mainly serve the NJ, NY, PA, CT, RI, VT, NH area. Drop off locations can be provided.
