Meet Lucy Van Pelt, a stunning 4-year-old, 45 lb husky with a heart of gold and a brain to match! Lucy is incredibly smart and treat-motivated, making her a joy to train. She's already house-trained and eager to continue learning. Lucy's previous family surrendered her due to a skin condition, which led her to an at-risk situation at a municipal shelter. Thankfully, she was rescued and is now thriving with proper nutrition and care. Her skin is healing beautifully, and she enjoys healthy snacks like apples and broccoli! Lucy can be a bit vocal, especially when she's excited about food, but she's polite with visitors and devoted to her pack, including her foster dog sibling. She's a quick learner and has shown great potential for a lifetime of love.

Ideal Home

Lucy thrives on a structured routine with two 45-minute walks and a 30-minute exercise session daily. She enjoys quiet time on her bed or deck and loves chew toys and frozen treats. Lucy is great with other dogs and likely cats, making her a wonderful fit for a multi-pet household. A work-from-home environment or a home with other dogs to keep her company would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Lucy's skin condition is healing perfectly thanks to a healthy diet. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Lucy is a quick learner and eager to please. She's house-trained and responsive to training. While she can be vocal when excited about food, she doesn't bark at visitors.
