Cally is a 3.5-year-old, spayed female Pitbull mix weighing around 40 pounds. She's a high-energy, happy-go-lucky girl with a huge heart and an even bigger personality! Cally is playful, affectionate, curious, and endlessly kind, bringing joy and laughter wherever she goes. She has a charming habit of giving the biggest, silliest smiles when she's getting affection and is a world-class cuddler who loves to snuggle. When invited onto the couch, she's on her best behavior to keep her spot, and she sometimes gets spontaneous zoomies that are sure to make you laugh!
Ideal Home
Cally would thrive in a home that can keep up with her energy and provide her with plenty of playtime and opportunities to run, at least twice a day. She enjoys having her own crate to decompress in and plenty of toys to keep her entertained. While she loves other dogs and plays beautifully with them, she can be an only dog as long as she gets sufficient activity. She is excellent with children of all ages and friendly towards strangers.
Ongoing Health
Cally is a healthy girl with no known ongoing health concerns.
Training & Support
Cally is fully crate-trained, house-trained, and travels well in a car kennel. She sleeps through the night and can nap during the day with proper potty breaks and playtime. While she is reliably house-trained, she is still learning to have full freedom indoors and requires supervision to prevent chewing on items like shoes or blankets. She does not exhibit separation anxiety. To ensure a stress-free mealtime, Cally needs to be fed separately from other dogs, as she is uncomfortable resource guarding around other canines, though she does not guard food from people, toys, or treats. Her food motivation makes training fun and rewarding. Continued leash training will help her perfect her walking skills.
