Katniss

Katniss is a sweet, 1-year-old retriever mix with a gentle spirit. She can be a bit reserved and shy when first meeting new people or experiencing new environments, but underneath that timid exterior is a girl just waiting to feel safe and loved. She’s still learning the ropes, including how to confidently walk on a leash, but she’s making progress every day. Katniss does wonderfully with other dogs and is currently thriving in a large playgroup with both males and females. Because of this, she would greatly benefit from a confident doggy companion in her future home—one who can help show her that the world isn’t so scary. With love, understanding, and a gentle routine, this wallflower will blossom into a deeply loyal and loving companion. If you have a soft spot for shy dogs and the heart to help one grow, Katniss is ready to bloom with you.
