Hi, I'm Rocky! My start in life was a bit rocky, as I was found alone and scared in the Everglades. Being found in such a state means I'm still learning to trust humans, and it takes me a little while to warm up. But I promise, it's worth the wait! With a gentle hand, patience, and maybe a few treats, I quickly reveal my loving and affectionate side. I absolutely adore playing with other dogs; they make me feel safe and happy, so a canine sibling would be wonderful to help me navigate my new world. My favorite thing in the entire world is swimming – I just love to splash and play! I'm dreaming of a family who will show me what true love feels like and allow me to shower them with all the love I have to give. Could you be the hero I'm looking for?

Ideal Home

Rocky would thrive in a home where he can feel safe and learn to trust. A canine sibling is highly recommended, as other dogs help him feel secure and happy.

Rocky was found to be underweight, but he has been cared for and is now healthy.

Rocky is still learning to trust humans and may be shy initially. Patience, gentle handling, and positive reinforcement with treats will go a long way in helping him feel comfortable.
