Meet Bently!

Bently is a playful six-and-a-half-year-old American Pitbull Terrier, weighing about 55 pounds. He's a striking white boy with golden patches, carrying himself with a sweet confidence and melting hearts with his unforgettable eyes. Bently is a devoted companion who balances fun with affection. He adores playing with children, especially a game of tug with his favorite rope, and will happily trade a round of fun for belly rubs. Attention is his love language, and he thrives when showered with pets and praise.

Ideal Home

Bently would love a home where he can be a cherished member of the family, receiving plenty of attention and affection. He is wonderful with young children and enjoys playing with them. He is neutral around other dogs and would need thoughtful introductions to canine companions. He has not spent time with cats recently and tends to keep his distance.

Ongoing Health

Bently's vaccinations are up to date. He will be required to be neutered prior to placement in his new home.

Training & Support

Bently knows "sit" and "come here." While he hasn't attended formal training, he would thrive with positive reinforcement and new learning opportunities. He was previously house-trained, but after spending time outdoors, his indoor routines are unknown. With consistency and encouragement, he can adjust beautifully. He enjoys walks and exploring on leash. He may be a little shy in new environments at first, but warms up with patience and kindness.
