Rosie, a 4-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer, is ready to find her forever home! She's the perfect mix of a loving family companion and a future hunting partner. Meet the breeder

German Shorthaired Pointer Puppy (Now a Big Girl of 4 months!) breeder image 1

Meet Mark Slaughter. My wife Alice and I reside in Utah and are proud to present a beautiful litter of German Shorthaired Pointers, born February 28, 2026. This litter includes four lovely females and one handsome male, carefully raised with love and expert care. Our breeding philosophy focuses on health, temperament, and the true spirit of the German Shorthaired Pointer breed. We bred Romy in part because our breeder’s dam missed her fertility window and we were able to fill in and provide two puppies for his arrangements. We consulted closely with a specialized breeding veterinarian to ensure optimal care and wellness throughout the breeding process and pregnancy. This is our 3 year-old Romy’s first and only litter. Watson, the sire, resides in state but out of town and it is his 6th litter. Proof of clean pedigree is included. They have NOT been inbred. (Check 6 generations back for a healthy and safe pup.) We cared deeply about giving these girls a healthy start, including thoughtful attention to pedigree and lineage. And because we care deeply, finding the right match matters to us. We’re hoping for loving homes where they’ll be cherished, included in family life, and maybe spoiled just a little. Their sister Porsche recently found her forever home, is thriving and currently back for a little visit ️. Raised lovingly in our home with their mother, siblings, and other family dogs, Rosie and Lulu are part of a one-time litter of eight. Social, affectionate, and active, these little girls enjoy lots of attention, running, playtime, puzzles, cuddles, and everyday family life. They sleep through the night in their kennel, are learning routines, use a designated indoor potty area, and are showing early pointing instincts. Healthy, growing beautifully, and at such a fun age—past the tiny baby stage, but STILL very much puppies! Rosie – bright, curious, and wonderfully independent. Rosie likes to investigate everything and has a knack for figuring things out (including how to escape the playpen ). She will thrive with an active owner who enjoys hunting or adventure with a dog who wants to be by your side. Little Lulu – wiggly, affectionate, and impossible not to love with those wistful eyes. Lulu has recently turned to a life of crime (mostly shoe larceny ) and appears to be forming a small gang. A little gentler but still fiesty, she loves praise, rewards, and somehow gets away with everything thanks to that face. They’ll go home with AKC paperwork, pedigree information, health records, food, treats, potty pads, collars, and familiar items to help make the transition easier. We are pleased to be a part of AKC that proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask us. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
