Affectionately nicknamed "Tazzi" by her foster family, she truly embodies the spirit of a Tasmanian tiger with her striking markings, but it's her gentle nature and quiet affection that truly captivate. She'll often nudge your hand with her nose, a soft invitation for a little extra love and attention. Larissa's journey to finding her forever home is a testament to her resilience and adaptability. She spent nearly ten months as a survivor, raising her two puppies in a Houston park and skillfully evading capture while accepting food from kind strangers. Now, this cautious survivor has blossomed into a dog who quickly learns to trust and forms deep bonds with new people. Once she feels comfortable and secure, her affectionate, easygoing personality truly shines.
Ideal Home
Larissa thrives on a balance of activity and relaxation. She loves daily walks, exploring new places, and especially enjoys the company of other dogs. A canine companion would be wonderful for her, as she lights up when she has a friend to play with. After playtime, she's content to curl up for hours, often choosing her crate as a cozy retreat.
