Erin

Erin is a sweet, 5-month-old hound mix who is blossoming more every day. She is a playful pup currently participating in our Fresh Start Prison Program, where she is safe from the stress of shelter life and receiving the structure, attention, and love she needs to shine. Erin has a fun, upbeat personality and is always excited to learn something new. She's working on basic commands and potty training, impressing everyone with her enthusiasm and intelligence. Erin is a joyful little companion in the making, all she's missing is a loving family to cheer her on and continue the love!

Ideal Home

Erin would love to have kids to play with! She is young and would probably do well with cats given a proper introduction. She is currently socializing well with other dogs at the prison program.

Ongoing Health

All puppies adopted from us will need to be brought back to the shelter for their spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, and exams prior to their surgery. If you are adopting an unspayed/unneutered dog, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the dog, and the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery.

Training & Support

Erin is working on basic commands and potty training.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Adoption fees vary based on the dog's program. Prison Dogs are $250. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1-year rabies shot (if old enough).
• All dogs adopted must leave with a $21 county license.
