Brody Meet me?

Brody is a handsome 7-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with a heart full of love to give! Brody had a rough start in life and is looking for a patient and understanding family to show him how wonderful people can be. He has worked very hard to build relationships and improve his dog skills, and now he's a happy, trusting fellow who loves attention and being by your side. Brody is immaculate in his kennel and enjoys enrichment activities, though he has a particular fondness for destroying pillows, orthopedic beds, and stuffies. We suggest providing him with durable toys instead! He's mostly good on walks once you get into a rhythm and is very food motivated, meaning he'll work hard for his treats. Brody adores people, loves to be petted, and will happily lay by your feet all day long.

Ideal Home

Brody would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and needs a family with children over 13 years old. He is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Brody is neutered and vaccinated. No ongoing health issues are noted.

Brody is house-trained. He can be exuberant with toys, so durable alternatives are recommended. He is food-motivated, which can be a great asset in training.
