Freya

Freya is a beautiful, shy Husky girl who is just starting to learn to trust people. She spent her first year living outdoors and has been cautiously observing humans from a distance. Through our dog playgroups, Freya is gaining confidence and learning to relax around other dogs, which in turn is helping her feel more comfortable with new people. She'll need a patient and loving home that understands she may take a little extra time to warm up. Freya is a deserving pup who is looking for a family to show her that life can be good and people can be kind.

Freya would do best in a home that understands her shy nature and can give her the time and space she needs to adjust.

Ongoing Health

Freya has tested positive for heartworm disease. The shelter will cover the cost of her treatment, and she is expected to make a full recovery.

Training & Support

Freya is still learning to trust, so patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping her blossom. She is benefiting from our dog playgroups, which are helping her gain confidence.
