Gonzo is a 2-year-old, 50-pound male mixed breed with a huge heart and an even bigger love for people. He's a sweet, medium-energy boy who is the perfect balance of adventure buddy and couch companion. Gonzo is always happy to head out for a walk, but he's just as content relaxing at home and soaking up time with his favorite humans. He may not be the biggest toy enthusiast, but he’ll happily chew on a bone or enjoy a short game of fetch. What really motivates him, though, is treats! He already knows how to sit and is eager to learn more, especially if snacks are involved. Gonzo does his business quickly when taken outside and has excellent kennel manners. He’s used to being crated when his people are away and keeps his kennel clean with no accidents. He has shown to be nondestructive in the house and has not damaged anything during his stay in his foster home. Gonzo lives with two large dogs and two cats in his foster home and does wonderfully with everyone. He loves to play with his doggy brothers and has absolutely no food or toy aggression—even when the other animals get curious. While he is cat-friendly, he occasionally gets excited and may try to chase, but he responds well when the cats correct him. Gonzo has all of the qualities to be your next furry friend!
