Tex

Tex is a two-year-old, 65-pound hound mix with a heart of gold. He had a challenging start in life, spending time fending for himself, which has made him a bit shy around new people. However, he's made incredible progress and has adjusted wonderfully to home living! Tex is crate trained and has proven to be a good companion for both dogs and cats. While he may take a little time to warm up, he's not mean, just a bit reserved. Once he feels comfortable, he'll blossom into a sweet and loyal friend who will reward your patience tenfold!

Ideal Home

Tex would thrive in a home with a patient adopter who can give him the space he needs to feel secure and comfortable. A fenced yard is a must for him to explore and relax safely.

Ongoing Health

All adoption donations include rabies shots, spay/neuter, and core vaccinations.

Training & Support

Tex is crate trained and gets along well with other dogs and cats. He is still learning to warm up to new people and may need some gentle encouragement to build confidence.
