Al

Meet Al, a handsome boy who is 50% Akita and 50% Mountain Cur. Al was born in August of 2022 as part of the "alphabet pups" litter. He was adopted with his sibling Ed, but now at three years old, they are no longer cohabiting well, which can be common with Akitas. His adopters have made the difficult decision to find Al a new home where he can thrive.

Al can be a little shy when you first meet him, but once he warms up, he's a total lovebug! He's known to give kisses, enjoys enthusiastic belly rubs, and loves to play with his favorite people.

Ideal Home

Al would do best in a home with older children or a gentle, submissive female dog. He is not a good fit for homes with small dogs. Due to his breed, Al has a high prey drive.

Ongoing Health

Al is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and on monthly prevention.

Training & Support

Al is already crate trained and obedience trained, having been raised in a home environment.
