Petey

Petey is a sweet, approximately 5-year-old French Bulldog with a heart of gold. He came to us in rough shape after suffering from chronic ear infections that led to a severe abscess, a ruptured ear canal, and a painful, swollen face that made it difficult for him to eat. After a stay in the hospital with strong antibiotics, Petey is on the mend and much more comfortable. Due to the prolonged infections, he will need ear ablation surgery to ensure he's completely pain-free. We're looking for a local foster home to help him through his recovery, but he's also available for adoption once he's fully healed. Petey also has chronic dry eye and requires long-term eye medication. Despite his discomfort, he's a quiet and gentle soul who deserves a calm environment to heal.
