Meet Fritz!

Fritz is an approximately 8-week-old German Wirehaired Pointer mix with a spunky, fun-loving personality. He was found near a street when he was about 6 weeks old and has been thriving ever since! We expect him to grow into a big boy, around 50+ lbs, with his current growth and large paws. Fritz is incredibly intelligent and has moderate energy, making him a perfect candidate for enrichment toys and puzzles. He's already mastered coming when called and is working on sitting, showing his eagerness to learn. While he's a loving and social pup who does great with people, children, and other dogs, he is still teething and can be a bit mouthy, so supervision is recommended around younger children as he learns boundaries. Fritz has his whole life ahead of him and is ready for a family that can provide patience, consistency, time, and commitment.

Ideal Home

A family ready to invest time and energy into training and enrichment. Fritz is a social boy who does well with people, children, and other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Fritz is fully vaccinated for his age, dewormed, microchipped, and on monthly flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Fritz is eager to learn and food-motivated, making training enjoyable. He is currently learning to sit and sleep independently. Continued crate training and puppy structure are recommended. He is early to rise (around 4:30 AM) and can be mouthy while teething.

Transporation

Our primary rescue is based in Houston, Texas, with foster homes across multiple regions. Transport is available to approved adopters for an additional fee.
