Piper is a 6-year-old, 60-pound German Shepherd who is past the puppy stage and ready for her forever home! She's the perfect blend of playful, loyal, and loving. Piper enjoys a good game of fetch and will happily settle down by your side afterward, content just to be near her people. She was sadly abandoned but remains hopeful that her perfect family is out there. Piper is vaccinated, house-trained, walks well on a leash, and is good with children. She might be a little shy and put on a tough front when meeting new people, but she's a gentle soul longing for safety and love. Her absolute favorite things include playing fetch, her special gingerbread toy, and spending time with her humans. She dreams of a soft bed, some toys, and a family that will cherish her forever.

Piper would do best as an only dog or with a dog her size or larger.
