Lenny

Hi there! My name is Lenny and I'm a sweet, approximately 2.5-year-old pup looking for my forever home. My previous owner fell ill, and I had to find a new place to call my own. I was a bit scared at first in a new environment, but thankfully, wonderful people took great care of me and helped me find my way to rescue!

Ideal Home

I'm a dog who thrives with patience and understanding. I take a little time to warm up to new people and situations, but once I gain confidence, I blossom! I do very well in my kennel, as it makes me feel safe, and I'm happy to be kenneled when you leave. I enjoy walks and have made great progress in feeling more comfortable on them. I'm good with other dogs and cats and enjoy gentle company.

Ongoing Health

I've had all my routine vetting and am up-to-date. I recently had my neuter, microchip, and a dental procedure, and I recovered wonderfully!

Training & Support

While I'm a bit timid, my tail wags non-stop once I feel comfortable! I've learned some basic obedience, like "Sit" and "Wait" for my food, and I'm learning "Down." I'm still a little unsure about playing with other dogs, but I think I'll get there with some encouragement. I do well in daycare settings and around other animals. I'm a fantastic cuddler once I warm up to you!
