Introducing Grover Chillington!

Grover's journey began at a high-kill shelter in Houston, where he was sadly placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, a wonderful foster family stepped in, recognizing the gem that Grover is. This charming boy is the epitome of chill, so much so that he was initially estimated to be 6 years old. However, recent veterinary assessments suggest he's likely between 2-3 years old, certainly no older than 3. Weighing around 48 pounds, Grover is the perfect medium-sized companion. He's a truly good boy with an old soul, happiest when he's by your side, whether that's in the backyard, on a leisurely walk, or snuggled up for a nap. While he enjoys exploring, he's not an overly energetic dog; a few daily walks and quality time with his family are all he needs. His foster parents even have a farm, and Grover stays close, showing he's just as well-behaved off-leash as he is on.

Ideal Home

Grover would love a home filled with plenty of affection, a comfortable place to sleep, and people who appreciate a devoted canine companion. He can be a bit shy initially but quickly warms up and loves belly rubs.

Ongoing Health

Grover is currently finishing up heartworm treatment. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and up-to-date on prevention.

Training & Support

Grover is fully house-trained and has excellent house manners. He settles well indoors, is not destructive, and gets along with everyone he meets.
