Leo

Leo is a charming six-year-old, six-pound gentleman whose breeding dog days are behind him. He's eager to trade his past for a future as a beloved family companion. Leo is a bit shy at first but warms up to become very affectionate. He adores females and has shown he does well with men, women, and children. Due to his petite size, however, toddlers are not the best fit.

Ideal Home

Leo would thrive in a home where someone is present for most of the day. A small fenced area would be ideal if he is to spend any time outside, as he tends to freeze on a leash. Patience and understanding will be greatly appreciated as he adjusts to his new life, especially after spending a year in a crate. We are looking for a home for Leo near the New Jersey shore.

Ongoing Health

Leo is neutered, up to date with his vaccines, and has had a full dental cleaning.

Training & Support

Leo is working on his potty training and uses a weewee pad, though he sometimes misses the mark. A small fenced yard will be very helpful for his outdoor potty breaks. He doesn't require a lot of exercise and is content as an indoor dog.
