Oreo

Oreo is a 4-year-old, 23 lb terrier mix with an estimated age, who is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He has a history of being found as a stray and spent time in a high-kill shelter before being rescued. Oreo is a shy dog who thrives in a calm environment and needs a patient family to help him build trust and feel safe. Once he settles in, he becomes affectionate, goofy, and loving, enjoying snuggles and following his people around. He's happy to be a companion on adventures, big or small, and loves to curl up for cuddles afterward.

Ideal Home

Oreo would do best in a home that understands his need for a slow pace and patience as he adjusts. He thrives with a family willing to let him settle in on his own terms.

Oreo's heartworm and flea/tick prevention are current. He is negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Oreo needs a patient family to help him build trust. He responds well to treats and a gentle approach, and once comfortable, he is a devoted and loving companion.
