Nala

Meet Nala, a beautiful 4-year-old Basenji mix weighing around 50 pounds. She's a dog with a loving heart and a playful spirit, ready to find her forever family. Nala has been spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and is up-to-date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Ideal Home

Nala would thrive in a quiet household with one or two adults who will allow her to settle in at her own pace. A confident, playful canine companion would be a wonderful bonus for her, as she enjoys playing with other dogs. She has also lived successfully with cats in the past. Nala is cautious when meeting new people and needs a patient adopter who understands that trust is earned through kindness, consistency, and time.

Nala is up-to-date on all her veterinary needs, including vaccinations and preventative care.

Training & Support

Nala is kennel trained and potty trained, settling quietly in her crate after a fun day. She does have some resource-guarding tendencies with food and toys, so she will do best with an adopter who is experienced or willing to continue managing those behaviors appropriately.
