Prepare yourself for an overwhelming amount of fluff! Maximilian doesn't even look real; he looks like a cross between a teddy bear and a baby polar bear, only somehow even cuter. He's the kind of puppy that makes people instinctively reach down for cuddles. With his giant fluffy paws, cloud-like fur, and sweet little puppy face, this boy is impossible to resist. Maximilian is approximately 2 months old and weighs around 10 lbs. We believe he may be a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix, but with rescue, it's always a mystery.
Maximilian is currently thriving in a foster home, where he's learning about the world through play, naps, meals, and gentle socialization. He spends his days discovering toys, wrestling with his siblings, collecting cuddles, filling his little puppy belly, and taking epic naps. Every day helps him grow into the confident, happy dog he's meant to be. If you're looking for a puppy that perfectly balances playtime and snuggle time, Maximilian is your boy. He's playful without being over-the-top, incredibly sweet, loves toys, and is already showing us what a cuddly little guy he is. He's happiest when he's having fun or soaking up affection. Like all young puppies, Maximilian will need a family that's ready for everything puppyhood brings, including continued socialization, training, structure, consistency, and lots of positive experiences. We require adopters to begin crate training as soon as their puppy arrives home.

Transporation
Maximilian is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. There is an $87 surcharge for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
