Aluna

Aluna is a 4-year-old female dog looking for a real connection with her person. She can be a bit nervous when meeting new people and may come across as shy or guarded at first, but underneath it all, she’s just looking for love and a sense of security. Aluna isn’t overly motivated by treats; instead, she thrives on praise and physical affection, making those quiet, bonding moments even more special. Once she starts to feel comfortable, her personality really begins to shine, and you’ll see her fun, active side come out. She was surrendered due to her owner's health.

Ideal Home

Aluna would thrive in a home that can give her time to decompress and build confidence at her own pace. She previously lived successfully with children of all ages. Due to her nervousness around louder dogs in the shelter environment, slow and thoughtful introductions to any new animal companions are recommended.

Ongoing Health

Aluna is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Aluna is reported to be housebroken and crate trained, which should help with a smoother transition into her new home. She doesn't have experience living with cats or other dogs and can be a bit nervous around them.
