DOUGAL

Dougal is a 75 lb, approximately 2-year-old Sheepadoodle who is an absolute gem! He's incredibly easy-going, laid-back, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He's so mellow that his foster family sometimes forgets he's even around! Dougal enjoys spending the hottest parts of the day inside to stay cool but loves coming out in the cooler parts of the day to play with his canine friends, enjoy a chew treat, and playfully chase squirrels.

Ideal Home

Dougal needs a securely fenced yard to safely explore. He is not to be adopted to any home with children under the age of 8.

Ongoing Health

Dougal previously tested positive for heartworms and has completed his treatment according to the American Heartworm Society protocols. It's common for dogs to test negative within 4 to 6 months after treatment.

Training & Support

Dougal appears to be well-house trained and leash-trained, though he does pull on the leash and would benefit from a handler with a strong hand.
