JERSEY (Adorable Puppy, Fun, Loving, Affectionate, Playful, Loves Everybody)

Jersey and his sister Jules are adorable puppies with cute floppy ears that you just cannot resist. They are ready to leave their rough start behind and find families of their very own. Jersey and Jules were dumped at a convenience store near a very busy highway, frightened, alone and in a very dangerous place with lots of traffic. Thankfully kind-hearted people stepped up to help and took them home and made sure they were safe.

Jersey is a handsome little boy, a Labrador Retriever/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with striking blue eyes and a shiny coat. He's currently 28 pounds and expected to be a medium-sized dog. He is microchipped and current on all his vaccinations, also receiving flea and tick prevention and heartworm prevention. Jersey will have a full veterinarian examination to obtain a Health Certificate before he travels.

Ideal Home

Jersey loves to romp, play, wrestle, and explore. Belly rubs are a favorite, and he soaks up all the attention he can get. He is learning to enjoy toys, the coziness of being inside, and playing with other dogs. Since he is young, he would likely adapt well to living with cats.

Ongoing Health

Jersey will be adopted with a neuter contract. The adopter will assume the financial responsibility for the neuter, to be completed by the vet-recommended age, no later than one year.

Training & Support

Jersey is currently working on crate training and other important puppy lessons that will help him grow into an amazing family companion. He is a happy, social, curious little pup who is blossoming more every day.
