A little about them

Meet Drew, a tiny one-year-old boy weighing 17 pounds with a very big heart. Drew shares a strong bond with Bryan, another young dog who helps him feel safe and reassured.

Drew is very afraid of people, especially when someone tries to touch him, and he may jump backward if a hand reaches toward him. His past is unknown, though his fear makes mistreatment a possibility. He is not ready to be touched yet, but he is curious, treat motivated, loves toys, and happily takes treats from a hand. He wants to interact and learn to trust.

Ideal Home

Drew needs a quiet, patient home with someone who understands fearful dogs and will let him set the pace. He needs time, consistency, compassion, and someone who will celebrate small steps without expecting him to become an affectionate lap dog overnight.

Drew has a strong bond with Bryan, and they provide comfort and reassurance for each other.
