Meet Tux! This handsome 1.5-year-old Black Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier mix is ready to prove that second chances are the best chances. Tux's story is one of resilience and hope; he was given a new lease on life by a compassionate veterinary team, and he's been making the most of every moment since. He's a truly special boy who loves to shower his people with affection, often described as a "world-class cuddle bug" who believes kisses are one of life's greatest gifts. When he gets the zoomies, it's a show-stopping display of pure joy!

Ideal Home

Tux would thrive in an active home where he can join in on hiking, walking, exploring trails, or camping adventures. He's also happy to simply relax on the deck while his family enjoys a backyard cookout.

Ongoing Health

Tux is neutered, microchipped, current on his shots, and fully vetted. He will have a complete examination by his veterinarian to obtain a health certificate for travel.

Training & Support

Tux is a well-mannered boy who is great on leash and has already learned impressive off-leash manners, always staying close to his foster. He rides wonderfully in the car, doesn't mind baths, is comfortable in a crate, and is doing very well with house training.
