About Hampton

Meet Hampton — the Gentle Soul With a Heart of Gold Hampton’s story begins the day he arrived as a stray, a little unsure but hopeful. It didn’t take long for his sweet nature to shine through. This golden oldie greets new friends with soft eyes, slow tail wags, and a calm, relaxed body—like he’s saying, "Take your time. I’m glad you’re here." Though he can be slightly hesitant in new situations, Hampton warms up quickly and becomes an affectionate, loyal companion. He leans in for gentle pets, follows people around for more attention, and happily soaks up all the love offered. He’s easy to leash, easy to walk, and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Hampton isn’t much of a toy guy; he prefers people over playthings. But he will join in on a soft, silly game of tag when the mood strikes, showing a spark of youthful joy beneath his senior calm. Hampton would do best with a thoughtful dog to dog intro, a slow household introduction, and positive guidance from a trainer as he continues to settle into home life. He’s a gentle old soul who still has plenty of love to give—and he’s ready to spend his golden years with someone who appreciates his quiet warmth and steady companionship. Could Hampton be the heart you’ve been missing?
