Rumi Cutie is an absolute sweetheart, a 6-year-old pittie mix who weighs 53 lbs and radiates happiness. She melts into anyone she meets and has a heart of gold, always ready to offer a sweet grin and those gorgeous big brown puppy-dog eyes. Rumi is incredibly loving and patient, making her a wonderful companion. She's also a rescue, so while we believe she's around 6 years old, breed and age are not guaranteed.
Ideal Home
Rumi would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can stretch her legs and explore. She also enjoys the company of a medium-energy male dog who appreciates a calm companion. While she loves other dogs, she doesn't require another pet to be happy, as she thrives on human affection. Rumi is also cat-friendly, as shown by her calm introduction to Biggie, our house cat.
Ongoing Health
Rumi is a healthy girl who has received all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea and heartworm prevention. She is spayed and microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Rumi is eager to please and a fast learner, already knowing commands like "sit" and "down." She walks nicely on a leash with only occasional pulling and responds well to gentle correction. Rumi is also house-trained and crate-trained.

Rumi is located in Texas but can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. We offer drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Transport includes 24/7 care, real-time tracking, photo updates, and a dedicated Facebook event page for adopters. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
