Meet Lena!

This devoted seven-and-a-half-year-old American Pitbull Terrier mix is a true gem. Lena is a 55-pound bundle of love with a beautiful brown coat and white accents. She thrives on companionship and enjoys everything from cozy movie nights and neighborhood strolls to energetic lizard hunts in the yard. When the day is done, her favorite place is right by your side, showering you with affection.

Ideal Home

Lena needs a home with experienced pet parents who understand resource guarding and dog reactivity. She must be in an adult-only home and be the only pet. Lena can be cautious with new people and may take time to build trust.

Ongoing Health

Lena is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She takes daily allergy medication.

Training & Support

Lena is house-trained and crate-trained. She has completed formal obedience training and knows commands like sit, stay, leave it, down, free, and here/touch. She has a history of resource guarding and conflicts with other dogs, so her new family should be committed to continuing thoughtful management and positive reinforcement practices to help her feel secure.
