Rocky is a handsome 6-year-old, 90-pound gentleman with a heart of gold. He was rescued from Houston, TX, where he was found abandoned and hungry. Despite his past, Rocky is a friendly, sweet, and easy-going boy who loves his people and enjoys leisurely walks on a leash. He's already mastered crate and house training, and is a well-behaved companion who enjoys relaxing indoors. Rocky is also good with cats and generally does well with large dogs, especially females. He would thrive with someone who can dedicate time to longer walks and truly be his best friend.

Ideal Home

Rocky needs a home where he can get the activity he desires. He should have his own food bowl and space to enjoy his meals without feeling the need to guard his food, given his past experiences.

Rocky is neutered and vaccinated. He is HWN (Heartworm Negative).

Training & Support

Rocky is house-trained and crate-trained. He can be protective of his food due to his past abandonment and need for survival. Providing him with his own bowl and space will help him feel secure. He also needs a home that can commit to longer walks to meet his activity needs.
