King

King is a one-year-old Basset Hound/Lab mix with a gentle soul and a laid-back nature. He's still building his confidence and can be a bit timid around new things and loud noises, but with a little patience, he blossoms into a sweet and loving companion. While he can be a bit jumpy when excited, he's generally calm and easygoing. King absolutely loves his outdoor time, whether it's running in the yard, going for walks, or just soaking up the sun. He has a playful spirit and enjoys games of fetch, tug-of-war, and has a real passion for chew time, especially with safe, sturdy chew toys and knuckle bones. King is already crate trained and house trained, making him a wonderful addition to any home.

Ideal Home

King would thrive in a patient and understanding home that will give him the time and space to build his confidence. A home that can help him see the world as a safe and wonderful place will be ideal. Because King has a prey drive and enjoys chasing smaller critters, including cats, a cat-free home is recommended.

Ongoing Health

King has a sensitive stomach and does best on a sensitive stomach dog food. Treats like milk bones do not agree with him.

Training & Support

King is already crate trained and house trained! He can be a little jumpy when excited, but with consistency and positive reinforcement, he will continue to be a well-behaved companion.
