King is an easy-going, toy-loving companion with a gentle smile that will melt your heart. He's not one to demand the spotlight, but he has a quiet charm that will undoubtedly win you over. King is estimated to be around 2 years old and currently weighs about 50 lbs, with an expected adult weight of 55-60 lbs. He appears to be an American Bully/Pittie mix, though breed and age are our best guesses in rescue. King has a calm and observant demeanor, preferring to share space and enjoy quiet moments rather than seek constant attention. He's friendly when meeting new people, accepting affection graciously but not demanding it. His true joy comes from his toys, which he cherishes and occasionally parades around. King is a master of coexistence, happy to entertain himself while you go about your day.
Ideal Home
King would do best in a home with a yard where he can explore and sniff. He is not a good fit for apartment living at this time.
Ongoing Health
King is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. He has also been heartworm tested.
Training & Support
King knows basic leash manners but will need continued guidance and consistency, especially when he sees something that interests him, like a new dog friend. He would benefit from ongoing practice and structure to help him succeed.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and a dedicated Facebook event page. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
