Duke

Duke is a handsome, high-energy boy who's looking for an active home to call his own! He was surrendered when his previous owner lost their home, and he's been with them since he was a puppy. Duke once sported a striking Blue Merle coat, but as he's gotten older, it's darkened, making his pattern less prominent. However, his big ears and charming personality more than make up for it! He absolutely loves to run, jump, and play, and he's a blast when he's engaged with his toys, carefully playing with them without completely destroying them.

Ideal Home

Duke's ideal home is one where he can run and play to his heart's content. He's not suited for homes with small children or elderly adults, and he needs a family that can help manage his excitement. He has shown interest in chasing cats, so a feline-free home is preferred. While he's still learning to socialize with other dogs, he's made progress in short interactions, and we're continuing to work with him to see if he could potentially share his home with a canine companion.

Training & Support

Duke can be a bit of a jumper when he gets excited, but we are actively working on this behavior with him, and he's showing improvement! Patience and consistent redirection will be key to his continued success.
