Mia is a brave and beautiful mama who has overcome so much. She was found in a desperate situation, tied up outside while her puppies were left in a trash can. Despite her own fear and malnourishment, Mia's maternal instincts kicked in, and she longed to protect her little ones. Thankfully, she and her puppies were rescued and given the care they needed to heal.

Today, Mia is a sweet, playful, and gentle soul who is great with other dogs. Now that she feels safe, her loving nature shines through. She is likely a cattle dog or heeler mix and is healthy, happy, and ready to find her forever home. Mia gave everything to protect her pups, and now it's her turn to be cherished. Transporation

Mia is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We facilitate adoptions to the US and Canada. Approved adopters will be matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. During summer months, if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable, dogs may fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
