Bucee is a sweet, 2-year-old, 55lb Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. He's a chill, confident, smart, and happy boy in search of his forever home. He loves welcoming new people and dogs with joyful barks. Bucee is energetic, with energy levels ranging from medium to high, but he's easily trainable and calm inside the house. He was found abandoned in Houston and his foster family believes he was dropped off in a popular dumping area.
Ideal Home
Bucee really needs a backyard where he can run and play with chewy toys. He would prefer to be with someone that is active because he needs to be able to expend all of his energy and not get bored.

Bucee is fully vaccinated and microchipped.
Training & Support
Bucee is kennel and potty trained. He loves to have access to chewing and mentally stimulating toys at all times. His foster mom crates him at night, and he usually sleeps there without any issues. He is very popular with female dogs, and most male dogs. He is also dog, cat, and kid friendly.

Transporation
Transport out of state is available! Pickup locations may vary, including to a nearby town, county, or state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. You will be able to track the van using the app Life360 and receive updates from transport. Facebook chats are also available to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be prepared to use one of these services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
