Meet Daffy! This sweet and gentle 1-year-old Terrier mix weighs about 40 pounds and is ready to find her forever family. Daffy can be a bit shy when she first meets new people, but with a little patience and kindness, her wonderfully loving personality truly shines through. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine sibling to help her gain confidence and have fun. Daffy has a happy, active spirit that's just waiting to blossom in a loving home.
Ideal Home
Daffy is looking for an active family who will include her in their adventures. She needs a home that can provide her with the patience and encouragement she needs to continue growing into the amazing dog she's meant to be.
Ongoing Health
Daffy is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP, and Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3. She has also been treated with Drontal® Plus and tested for heartworm with an IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test. She is on Tri-Heart® Plus for heartworm prevention and will receive one month of flea and heartworm preventative with adoption.
Training & Support
Daffy is already doing a great job with house training and knows how to use a dog door. She is eager to learn and would thrive with a family willing to continue working on her leash walking skills and help her build confidence in new situations. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization.

Transportation
Daffy is currently in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process. We are an all-volunteer organization and do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.
