Barnaby is an 11-year-old, 13-pound Rat Terrier with a heart full of love and a spirit full of pep! Don't let his distinguished graying muzzle fool you; he's a bright and curious chap who adores his walks, squeaky toys, and car rides. He settled into his foster home with the confidence of a seasoned pro, ready to make himself comfortable and shower his favorite humans with affection. Barnaby is house-trained and highly food motivated, making him a joy to have around. He also sleeps soundly through the night in his crate next to his foster's bed.

Ideal Home

Barnaby would thrive in a home that can offer him daily adventures and plenty of cozy snuggle time. While he's done well with other dogs and cats with proper introductions, he might do best with calm and easy-going canine companions. We haven't seen Barnaby interact with children, so we believe he'd be happiest in a home without little ones.

Ongoing Health

Barnaby's adoption fee of $200 includes his spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test, heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. Barnaby is eligible for a two-week trial period.

Training & Support

Barnaby is house-trained and food-motivated, which will be a great asset for continued training. He has adjusted well to living with other animals, but a slow and proper introduction is always recommended.
