Thyme fka Sally

Meet Thyme, a charming little lady with a resilient spirit! 🌿🐾 Found abandoned in the desert, Thyme is now safe and learning to trust again. She arrived with another dog, but while they get along, Thyme is independent and could thrive in a home on her own. She's a small mixed breed, possibly Yorkie and/or Shih Tzu, and is a recent grooming success with trimmed nails and no more mats. Thyme is housebroken and enjoys doing her own thing as long as her humans are nearby. She's a good alert dog, letting you know about any activity, but can be vocal. Given her past, Thyme is understandably a bit timid with new situations and may initially shy away when you try to pick her up, but she settles nicely once held. She's working on basic commands and learning what it means to feel truly secure. Thyme has shown some resource guarding with food, so a patient home that can continue gentle training and provide structure will be ideal for her to blossom.
