Apollo Mission

Meet Apollo! This handsome, young, large, male mixed breed is ready for his next big adventure. Apollo came to us after suffering an accident that resulted in us having to amputate one of his legs. He has since then recovered wonderfully and is growing in confidence every day. Apollo can be a bit nervous when first meeting new friends but warms up well with time. He has also enjoyed the company of other dogs while here at the shelter and enjoys playing! The best way we have learned to bond with him is through yummy treats and short walks. Apollo loves going for walks and enjoys finding new smells outside. With the proper time and care, Apollo is sure to grow into the perfect companion.

Ideal Home

Apollo is good with kids and has enjoyed the company of other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Apollo is a tripod, having had one leg amputated due to an accident. He has recovered well from this procedure.

Training & Support

Apollo can be a bit nervous when first meeting new friends but warms up well with time. He enjoys short walks and treats, which are great ways to build his confidence.
