Carmilla

Carmilla is a spirited Doberman mix who prefers action-packed adventures over quiet nights in. She was found as a stray near the airport and has since blossomed in foster care, embracing the freedom of rural living. Carmilla has been exposed to horses and chickens and seems to enjoy her outdoor experiences. She is approximately 5 years old and weighs about 50 lbs, with a docked tail and a course coat. Her past has left some marks, including scars on her head and worn front teeth, but she's a resilient survivor who has overcome previous hookworm and heartworm infections.

Ideal Home

Carmilla would thrive in an active home that can keep up with her adventurous spirit. She's already shown she can coexist with horses and chickens.

Ongoing Health

Carmilla has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She has been treated for hookworms and heartworms and is now testing negative.

Training & Support

Carmilla appears to be house-trained. As she was found as a stray, she may benefit from continued positive reinforcement and guidance to help her settle into a new home.

Transporation

Carmilla is currently being fostered in Texas. The adoption fee includes transport via van to the PNW, Midwest, or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states.
