Meet Pasta! This 5-year-old Hound/Lab mix is brimming with zest for life and energy to spare. She absolutely loves adventures, long walks, and car rides. After a good day of fun, she's a pro at crashing on the couch. Pasta's love language is treats, and she's always ready to work for a snack! She has a history of doing well with dogs, kids, strangers, and even livestock, and she's housebroken and crate trained. Pasta was heartworm positive in 2025 but tested negative in June of 2026 and is now spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She's looking for a committed home that can offer her structure, patience, and plenty of things to do.

Ideal Home

Pasta prefers calm handling and does best with male or smaller dogs, requiring slow introductions. She needs to be fed separately due to possible food guarding. Her cat history is mixed, so a cat-free home may be the best fit depending on your experience. She pulls hard on leash and can clear fences under 5 feet, so secure containment and a confident handler are a must.

Ongoing Health

Pasta was heartworm positive in 2025, but has since tested negative. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Pasta is housebroken and crate trained. She pulls hard on leash and may need continued work on leash manners. She also needs slow introductions with new dogs and separate feeding to manage potential food guarding.
