Posie

Posie is a 2-year-old female Maltese Terrier mix who was rescued from a backyard breeder and is now thriving in a safe, loving environment alongside her three grown puppies. When Posie first arrived, she was timid and unsure, but she has shown incredible resilience and has made wonderful progress. Her gentle personality and loving nature are becoming more apparent each day. Posie is affectionate and enjoys the company of both people and her canine companions. She is learning that the world can be a safe and enjoyable place and is gaining confidence through positive experiences and patient guidance.

Ongoing Health

Posie is expected to be ready for her forever home around August 2026.

Training & Support

She is currently working on important life skills, including crate training, enjoying time outdoors on the grass, eating on a regular schedule, and accepting treats gently from our hands. With continued love, patience, and encouragement, Posie is sure to continue blossoming into a devoted family companion.
