Koda Bear Hug is a handsome 1-year-old, 53-pound bundle of love with a personality as big as his heart. He's a happy-go-lucky Pittie mix who believes that any available lap or spot on the couch is meant for him. Koda is the ultimate adventure buddy and cuddle bug, always ready for a park day, a car ride, or a snuggle session with his favorite people. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and has even proven to be a great apartment dog, though he'd absolutely adore a fenced yard for zoomies and outdoor fun. Koda gives the best kisses and loves to be right in the middle of everything, especially bedtime cuddles! He’s friendly with everyone he meets, including children, and is gentle and affectionate with them.
Ideal Home
Koda would thrive in a home that appreciates his zest for life and can continue to guide him as he polishes his manners. He would love a home with a fenced yard, but can adapt to apartment living. He has lived with cats and dogs, but would do best with confident, dog-savvy felines and tolerant, playful canine companions who don't mind reminding him about personal space.

Training & Support
Koda is still working on his leash manners and can pull a bit when excited about outings. Continued positive reinforcement and training will help him become the best version of himself.

Koda is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide with our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
