Athena

Meet Athena! This sweet girl was found by one of our volunteers dodging traffic, and sadly, her owners were never found. She's a playful and friendly terrier mix, estimated to be between 9-12 months old and weighing around 30 lbs. We don't anticipate her getting any bigger. Athena is already doing great in the house and would make a wonderful addition to a family with children. She gets along wonderfully with all animals.

Ongoing Health

Athena is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative (tested below detectable levels), and has been spayed.

Training & Support

While Athena is doing great in the house, new environments can sometimes lead to accidents, even with well-trained animals. Patience and consistent reinforcement will help her continue to succeed in her new home.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• There is no fee to apply.
• Adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis.
• The adoption fee is $175, which includes a vet check, age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies vaccination (if at least 16 weeks), and spay/neuter.
• Puppies will be altered before adoption as part of our rescue policy.
• Puppies or dogs not yet available for adoption due to vetting can be reserved with an approved application and a non-refundable $50 deposit. This deposit is applied to the adoption fee.
