Efes is a lively and handsome 2-year-old terrier mix who made his journey to us all the way from Istanbul, Turkey! He's a sturdy boy, weighing around 75 lbs, with a wiry coat that's as full of personality as he is. Efes is a happy and active dog who loves to play and is still very much in his excited puppy phase. He's great with other dogs and enjoys their company. While he loves children, he can get a bit too enthusiastic and might jump, potentially knocking over younger kids. He's also known to chase cats and rabbits if they run, so a home without those smaller animals would be best.
Ideal Home
Efes would thrive in a home with an active family who can keep up with his energy. Due to his boisterous play style, he's not recommended for homes with very young children, but he'd likely do well with older, active kids. He does well with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion to play with.
Ongoing Health
Efes is healthy and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He has been neutered and microchipped. His health records will come with him to his new home.
Training & Support
Efes is still working on his leash manners and jumping behavior. With consistent positive reinforcement and clear boundaries, he'll surely learn to channel his excitement appropriately.
